Client’s assignment

As part of its innovation strategies, the City Hall has introduced a system for the circulation of paper documents at the office using handover lockers with an electronic lock and a code for their collection. The requirement was to integrate this transfer system also for the handover of vehicles or keys. It was part of the first phase of the smooth digitization of the fleet. It was necessary to integrate with the electronic lock and a reservation and approval system was required for planning.

Our proposal for optimization of the original assignment

In addition to integration with the locker system, we designed a connection with data from GPS monitoring units. We have expanded the solution to include automatic identification in the event that the vehicle has been returned and it is necessary to remind you of the return of the key, which is done by sending an electronic order. Therefore, there is an immediate overview of the whole process. It is important to evaluate and process a notification to the driver in the event they should collect the key, but it has not yet been returned by the previous driver. Such a check is carried out not only in advance, but also repeatedly, until the start of the reservation with notification of the management person to increase the likelihood of remedy or alternative transport solutions, etc.

Client’s assignment

The assignment of the Municipal Police and the Fire Rescue Service was clear: to supply a monitoring and surveillance system for the vehicles, their status, including checking the on/off status of the beacon. One of the requirements was the delivery of a reservation and planning system for the operator and driver so that all activities related to the vehicle could be carried out in one system. The condition was that the system had various types of automatic checks, reports, including a supervisory panel allowing you to see different groups of vehicles according to the authority of the supervising person. Another important requirement was to check the condition of the vehicle and plan its maintenance according to its use, or according to damage associated with operation / interventions.

Our proposal for optimization of the original assignment

As a minor superstructure, we have proposed the possibility of checking the persons sitting in the relevant vehicle, either by attaching an identification card / chip to a hidden reader, or automatic identification by reading a radio identification chip.

Client’s assignment

The client’s assignment was to introduce modern GPS Vehicle Monitoring, especially automated logbook processing, including refueling checks and fuel card billing across all branches for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. One of the requirements was to initialize installation in all vehicles at the branches within 14 days, without the need for the involvement of the chief fleet manager. Another requirement was to make control records of vehicles and their condition during the installation of the units

Our proposal for optimization of the original assignment

As part of better and more accurate monitoring, we have proposed to utilize the FLEXI unit, which allows accurate detection of the distance travelled, as well as detection of refueling and fuel levels in the tank. For a small price increase, this has led to full automation of vehicle mileage processing with a link to fuel cards and control of purchases with a fuel card against the tank level in the vehicle. The complexity of installing FLEXI units is similar to that of BASIC units, so when changing vehicles in the fleet, reinstallation will be simple. As part of the system configuration, we then proposed the use of preventive control photography and an electronic handover and takeover protocol so that all records are automatically in one place and no other people are needed to process them.

Client’s assignment

A major automotive and technology company was looking for a functional solution that would provide vehicle control in terms of unlocking and locking the vehicle, with a focus on the rear doors for the Trunk Delivery project. In addition to the control itself, there was also a requirement to identify the location where the vehicle is parked + additional control of the warning lights or horn for its possible easier finding by the delivery courier. An important requirement was, of course, the ability to integrate the proposed system into the courier system, which has already been created and integrated into several selected e-shops.

Our proposal for optimization of the original assignment

In addition to controlling the rear door and checking its status, we proposed to add and work with information about the other doors, which will ensure that the courier only opens the rear door. As another important functional accessory, we have proposed to use additional independent immobilization of the vehicle.
